Project Greenlift to develop ground-effect Cicada222x
Bio-inspired Australian-made craft featuring hemp-reinforced fuselage panels and sustainable fuel capabilities is positioned to meet disaster relief, e-commerce and military needs.
Based in Australia — Built for Global Impact
Engineering Innovation Built in Australia, Designed for Global Impact
Based in Woolgoolga, NSW, LowFlight G.E.M develops advanced transport technology with a mission to support humanitarian response, defence operations, and disaster relief logistics. Our work combines engineering excellence with a commitment to low-carbon innovation, helping partners respond faster and more effectively in critical situations.
Better Solutions. Better Future.
The world is changing and so are we
Disasters, both natural and man-made, often expose vulnerabilities in transport systems. Delays lead to inconvenience and can cost lives. Our world needs solutions that ensure a viable, reliable and economic movement of people and goods, in extreme conditions. To ensure we are not adding to the problem, we recognise our role in supporting the environment and are providing a solution with high sustainability and a lower carbon footprint.
A mission born from the need for resilient transport solutions
Project Greenlift began with a simple question: how can we move essential supplies and people into areas where roads, runways, and traditional infrastructure fail?
LowFlight G.E.M was created to solve this challenge through bio-inspired engineering and sustainable design, building transport systems that strengthen global resilience during emergencies and humanitarian crises.

Travel in Style
Innovative Engineering
Inspired by Nature
Our craft utilise an aerodynamic phenomenon, known as the ‘Ground Effect’, which allows the craft to travel long distances, at high speed, with minimal energy use.
Since the 1960s, engineers have been constructing and operating craft that hover or fly in ground-effect. Low Flight G.E.M have developed craft that combine both.
Our craft enable the transport of people and supplies to locations currently physically and/or economically inaccessible.

ROTEK Design Pty Ltd
A human-centric industrial design company
The creators of Project GreenLift have developed a range of hybrid Ground Effect cargo craft to support the expanding gap in flood/disaster relief, defence, Medivac, specialist logistics operations and the
E-commerce parcel transport market.
Our purpose
We are all aware of the challenges facing our world, it is now time to be part of the solution
